Global Wave Inc is a water polo consultancy, international training operator and event partner based in Montréal, Québec. Our work is anchored in decades of high-performance competition at Olympic and World Championship level.
We offer programming for athletes, coaches and organizations: international training tours across Europe; a pipeline program built with USA Water Polo; and consulting on coach education, club development, event organization, competition design and athlete pathways. The connecting thread is experience — a management team drawn from sport, law, business and information technology, with unparalleled passion for water polo.
Dragan Jovanović
Born in the former Yugoslavia, Dragan grew up living water polo. His career in the sport spans close to four decades — as an athlete, club coach, national-team coach, high-performance director, federation president and chief executive.
He has been part of elite international competition at the Olympic Games, FINA World Championships, European Championships, Champions League, Pan American Games, FISU Games and the Commonwealth Games. Today he serves as Executive Director of the World Water Polo Coaches Association.
"My mandate is simple," he says. "Build programs that put athletes on pool decks they could not reach alone — and give their coaches the tools to keep them there."
